Guts Nendoroid
Put your grasses on and check out the blindingly awesome Nendo of Guts from Berserk 🕶️
I can’t remember when Berserk first came into my life - probably some time after becoming hooked on From Software’s excellent “Souls” series of games - but since reading the landmark manga by Kentaro Muira I have been fascinated with the tragic hero that is Guts. Finally, the great artists Shichibee and Nendoron over at Goodsmile have brought this epic character to life in the cutest way possible.
Inside the box you get Guts in his iconic post-eclipse black swordsman appearance - black cape, missing eye, prosthetic cannon arm, utility belt full of daggers and bombs - along with his huge Dragon Slayer sword and enough extra face plates and arms/legs to let you pose him in a variety of ways. I’ve uploaded some pictures to a Google Photos album so you can see what is possible, check them out here - Guts Nendoroid photos.
A cautionary word about this particular figure, when changing poses or just handling him in general, you have to be very careful with how you touch his cape. I found out the hard way that this tough guy is still fragile and ended up having to get the gorilla glue out to fix my mistake.
Now, Guts sits happily on my shelf next to my collection of Berserk Deluxe edition manga, but it would be nice if he could get some company - Casca, Griffith or any of the other characters from Berserk in Nendoroid form would be awesome. For now I’ll just settle with him squaring off against Popup Parade Nosferatu Zodd!
RIP Muira-sama 🙏
